Thanks in part to the terrific success of the bus pass ministry, we now have people moving out of Palmetto House and into their own apartments or houses. Many don’t already have the basic household goods they need. Disciple Women are collecting specific, basic household goods to make New Home Kits. If you have any of the items below to donate, there will be bins in the Narthex to receive your donations.

2. Since our congregation is growing, it might be time to add an EVENING CWF meeting to the one we have during the day. The group meets once a month for learning, fellowship and helpful projects. (A survey sheet to assess the possible day and meeting time will be in this Sunday’s bulletin. If you are likely to attend, please fill it out and place it in the offering plate as it is passed, or if you are unable to attend Worship Service this Sunday, October 17, you are welcome to call the church office: 252-6648 and let us know your preference.)

CWF HYGIENE KITS SHIPPED!

34 kits were assembled with your donations of goods; $102 came in to pay for additional items and kits and for shipping from the warehouse
to areas around the world. What a wonderful outreach to God’s children involved in disasters. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Thank you for continuing to lovingly care for God’s children, our sisters and brothers. The monetary donations and the donated items for the recent CWF project of Hygiene Kits for Church World Service disaster relief just went out this past week. Much gratitude from CWF to all the donors and volunteers who helped assemble the kits.
