V In Worship…
There are no set rules how to pray or worship, Whether you ‘amen’ in your heart or ‘amen’ out loud, each person can find the way that suits them best in worship and in prayer at First Christian.
V In Service…
God has given each person unique gifts and talents. At First Christian, there is room for everyone. Also at First Christian we believe that children are meant to be heard and seen. Children are regularly a part of the Sunday Worship Service.
V In Fellowship…
Members of First Christian come from all walks of life, racially, economically and socially. In the eyes of God, we are all equally God’s Children, siblings in the Faith. We are family by the blood of Christ. We share in each other’s joys and sorrows, helping each other follow Christ’s way in every area of daily life. We lift the Lord and each other up, from children to grandparents, and all those in between.
UNITY:
Y In Jesus Christ being our Savior, the Son of the Living God whose blood
was shed for our transgressions.
Y In the belief that the Bible is the inspired Word of God, sufficient for direction,
correction and reproof.
Y In the knowledge that we are saved by grace and sanctified
by the blood of Christ, demonstrated by works or deeds.
Y In the desire to learn and grow with the Lord and each other,
under the direction of the Holy Spirit. We are God’s family,
servants to God, each other and the world around us.
