Led by volunteer coordinators Tamara Horst and Troy McKinney and lovingly supported by Reverend David Troxler, Celebrate Recovery at First Chrisitian sets itself apart from other 'vaguely higher power based' addictions programs.

So why is CR so different?

We at Celebrate Recovery realize that God is in charge. That Christ's salvation makes us blessed and loved, cherished children of God. We follow God's way of breaking out of the old and into the new. We know that with the power of the Holy Spirit --not through our own power-- all things, ALL THINGS are possible.

God loves us, God needs us. And we need Him. For love. For comfort. For direction. For self-control. We submit ourselves to the Lord. Christ is our strength. He is strong enough, when we are ready to surrender our will to His Will, to take us through recovery. Ending the hurt, ending the hang-ups, ending a dead cycle and onto new life, the Lord's way.
