July 1, 2017 is a new government year. You will need to re-register for the TEFAP program when you come in July. See below for the qualifications
THERE ARE SEVERAL QUALIFICATIONS THAT NEED TO BE MET IN ORDER TO PARTICIPATE IN THE FOOD PANTRY. PLEASE CALL 386-252-6642 FOR DETAILS.
The Government year runs from July 1 to June 30th...so to obtain items from the food pantry in July or if you come for the first time in any month, you will need to fill out the form. The only requirement for TEFAP program is that you are a resident of Volusia County.
We reserve the right to limit the number of families that are served each month, due to the availability of food products in any given month. We MAY NOT be able to serve all who come during our operating hours and will close early. Please use the gray doors under the blue awning. A sign will be posted if we need to close early
In order to receive any non government provided free food items, such as eggs,some fresh fruits and vegetables and some meats that might be available that are not part of the TEFAP program, you will need to show proof of eligibility once per year in July. For this we need to see a SNAP card, proof of income, an SSI card, etc. This is only for non TEFAP food provided along with the government program. If you live in Volusia County you will get a bag of food.
